The Ghana Police Service has deliberately planted some Landguards and their boys to mud intended peaceful protest slated for Tuesday June 28, 2022.

Ghanaians came out in their numbers today to demonstrate against the NPP led President Akufo-Addo and his, Vice Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumia for being insensitive and created hardship in the country.
The people are complaining of massive corruption going on in the country, looting state lands and funds amongst many other things by President Akufo-Addo and his appointees as well as the NPP party gurus and elites.
The poor performance of the NPP administration has end up messing up the country’s economy and developments.

At the demonstration, Police deployed over 50 of their boys together with some Landguards to join the protesters in the similar colour and designed of T – Shirts of “Arise Ghana” distributed, to foment troubles for the demonstrators to be accused.

Intel available to Nationaltymes.com indicated that the police gave their men black earrings as their identity before they were deployed to join the demonstrators.
According to one of the one of the convenors demonstration, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the police tried in vain to use the Court to foil their demonstration. He explained that they have settled with the police routes they would use during the protest match.
But after they have converged at Obra Spot, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, the police want to change agreed proposed routes to entire different routes. Following this, the protestors refused the latest police chosen routes and for that matter, the demonstrators to stay at the converging point.

Addressing media this evening, Lawyer Gyamfi further explained that the police desided to sack them if are not going to move. Along the line their men planted amongst the demonstrators started petting stones at the police who also released teargas into the demonstrators.
The police further shots rubber bullets at the protestors, Lawyer Gyamfi explained. He added that they have already picked an Intel that the police planned to deliberately plant their men, amongst them. So they quickly warned that no one should throw any stone at the police to hold peaceful protest.
To this effect, he said some of the protesters themselves arrested some of those who pet the police with stones and handed the person over to the police for they were interested in the peaceful demonstration and nothing else.
He urged every Ghanaian to come out in their numbers tomorrow at 12 noon, to continue with the demonstration.
