ONE of Ghana’s Business Tycoon, Alhaji Asoma Abu Banda’s life in danger and needed the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Alhaji Osuman Nuhu Sharabuktu to come to his rescue.
The Business Tycoon, 80, is Owner of Antrak Air, a passenger flight and CEO of other Companies – MPL and UPS. He is currently bedridden and ‘kidnapped’ by his second wife, Edwina Baaba Coussey Banda for the past two years where his health is fast deteriorating and she stops the man’s family and children from seeing him.
The residents who knew of his sickness prayed the National Chief Imam steps in quickly before it’s too late. Information indicates he could hardly talk well, and the lady brings a doctor once a while to attend to him at his Airport residence home.
The alleged Information National Tymes picked indicated this 2nd wife told one of Alhaji Asoma Banda’s younger brothers that the family could only see the dead body of their bedridden brother.
She foiled all efforts made by one of the man’s sons, Vandel Asoma Banda, residences in UK, from seeing his sick father.
The Airport Police arrested him when he tried to bulldoze his way to see his sick and hidden father by his stepmother, Baaba Banda.
Police kept the young man who is little over 35 behind bars at the Airport Police Station for close to eight (8) hours before granted bill at about 9PM last Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
Baaba Coussey Banda also prevented the first wife, Hajia, and mother of Alhaji Asoma Banda’s children from seeing her sick husband.
National Tymes was hinted that Edwina Baaba Coussey Banda has even started selling some assets – 2 gold watches and some vehicles of the old man. And she also attempted faking Alhaji signature to enable her to cash money from banks since he has no strength to sign his signature.
This portal further gathered that the Airport Police claimed Baaba Coussey has video recording of the 80 year old Alhaji with deteriorating health condition saying he does not want to see any of his children or anybody including his families. therefore Vandel Asoma Banda has no right to go to the house to see the father.
