DR. RANSFORD Abbey, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), has successfully completed his inaugural tour of Ghana’s seven cocoa-producing regions, culminating in a visit to the Volta Region.

During the final leg of his tour, Dr. Abbey engaged with cooperative cocoa farmers in Bowiri Kyeraheni, located in the Hohoe District.

He also visited the farm of a young cocoa farmer, underscoring his commitment to understanding the challenges and opportunities within the sector firsthand.

In addition to these interactions, Dr. Abbey paid a courtesy call on Togbega Gabusu VII, the Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional Area, and met with staff at the COCOBOD Volta Regional Office.

Reflecting on his nationwide tour, Dr. Abbey expressed gratitude to cocoa farmers across all regions for their warm hospitality and unwavering dedication to the industry.
