Adding, he said that the FEC meeting also approved the new payment platform, through the use of the electronic. And moratorium of 3 months has been granted those whose names are in the old register as they are the only persons who can vote and be voted for.
He further explained that the the newly registered members in the recent nationwide registration are not qualified voters or be voted for. He also added that the registration has been put on hold to give way to the upcoming internal elections.
The NDC General Secretary, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia indicated that to be able to monitor their elections properly and for incident free, they have zoned the country into 4.
He hinted that the forms to contest for any position could now be bought online to prevent any misunderstanding and deliberate attempts to prevent other qualified persons from procuring the forms to context for a position.
