THE REGIONAL Zango Caucus Coordinators, on behalf of all constituency-level coordinators, have expressed their profound appreciation to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for appointing Alhaji Tanko Ibrahim Yagba as Chairman of the Hajj Board.
In a statement released today, the group described the appointment as a reflection of Mr. Mahama’s deep commitment to the development and representation of Zongo communities.
“The selection of Alhaji Tanko is a testament to his strong work ethics, integrity, and remarkable leadership. His wealth of experience and dedication to service will greatly benefit pilgrims and the Hajj process,” the statement noted.
The group also congratulated Alhaji Halidu Haruna on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Zongo Development Fund, describing both appointments as timely and well-deserved.
They expressed confidence in the capabilities of the two appointees to deliver on their mandates and advance the aspirations of Zongo communities across Ghana.
“We wish them wisdom, strength, and success in their new roles, and reaffirm our full support as they embark on this important journey of service,” the statement concluded.
