THE Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Hon. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has concluded a series of strategic engagements with international partners to strengthen cooperation and align support for Ghana’s development agenda.

The engagements focused on key areas under the Ministry’s mandate, including environmental sustainability, science, technology and innovation.
Discussions with Norway centered on ocean development, marine sustainability and combating plastic pollution under the Ocean for Development Programme.
With the United Kingdom, the talks focused on e-mobility transition, interventions to tackle illegal mining and sustainable waste management.
The Minister’s engagement with Palestine explored knowledge exchange and bilateral collaboration across the core mandates of the Ministry.
Talks with Russia focused on advancing research capabilities, technology transfer and scientific innovation.

Her meeting with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)and centered on institutional strengthening, policy implementation and sustainable development initiatives.
Hon. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings said collaboration with diplomatic missions and development partners remains critical to translating policy priorities into practical outcomes for Ghana.
