
THE VOLTA Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, delivered the keynote address at the 6th Quadrennial Delegates Conference of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) Professional and Managerial Staff Union, held this morning in Ho.
In his remarks, the Minister commended GCB Bank for its consistent and strategic support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), describing them as the backbone of Ghana’s economy, particularly in the Volta Region.

He emphasized that the bank’s accessible credit facilities and tailored financial services align seamlessly with the transformative vision of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for a 24-Hour Economy, and the broader national agenda for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
“The Volta Regional Coordinating Council remains a firm partner in fostering an enabling environment for investment and enterprise development,” Hon. Gunu stated.
He expressed confidence in continued collaboration to drive job creation, innovation, and shared prosperity.
