THE MEMBER of Parliament for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, and the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, have paid a joint working visit to Dabala to engage traditional leaders and stakeholders on the community’s development priorities.
The high-level visit brought together the Chief, Queenmother, elders, and opinion leaders of Dabala, creating a platform for dialogue on pressing needs including the rehabilitation of the Dabala Market, provision of pipe-borne water, and the improvement of local roads.
The delegation also included the District Engineer, Mr. Simon Defoe, and a team of technical experts who inspected key sites and offered professional input on feasible interventions.
In a significant move to support the district’s infrastructure drive, the traditional leadership of Dabala announced the release of a gravel pit for use in road construction and rehabilitation works across the area.
On their parts, Hon. Lukutor and Hon. Dzeklo assured the chiefs and residents of their strong commitment to seeing ongoing and previously stalled projects brought to completion.
The MP stated their united front in promoting inclusive development across the South Tongu District, with a clear focus on enhancing living conditions for all.

The visit was widely seen as a positive step toward deepening collaboration between political leadership and traditional authorities for the benefit of the local population.
