AI-driven analytics offer not only a deep understanding of individual player metrics but also insights into team dynamics, strategies, and health, helping Ghana’s football team make data-driven decisions that could elevate their success on the global stage.
Definition of AI in Football;
In football, artificial intelligence (AI) refers to using machine learning, data analytics, and algorithms to analyze, predict, and enhance various aspects of the game. These technologies help improve player performance, create advanced game strategies, monitor health, and provide real-time insights during matches. AI in football aims to leverage data for intelligent decision-making, ultimately making the game safer, fairer, and more enjoyable for players, coaches, and fans alike (Ref. Clemente et al., 2022).
