The Chairman of the Diasporan Progressive Movement, DPM, based in United States of America, Dr. Lawrence Appiah has asserted that the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo is the most corrupt President in Ghana’s history.
According to him, the only thing Nana Akufo-Addo (Mampam) hears is when one ties him to corruption. “Nana Akufo-Addo is so corrupt that when he hears the word corruption he feels heaven is coming down on him. He will then react immediately”, Dr. Appiah posited.
Do we remember when H.E. John Dramani Mahama retweeted Hon. Isaac Adongo’s tweet that the Jubilee House is now full of the Akyem Sakawa boys? Nana Addo had to hurriedly call the Christian and Catholic Bishops Councils and complained to them that H. E. John Mahama referred to the Akyems as Sakawa boys, Dr. Appiah recollected.
Dr. Appiah indicated that Martin Kpebu was forced to retract and apologize for saying President Akufo-Addo was part of a criminal syndicate at the Jubilee House although he was right. Meanwhile Martin Kpebu only confirmed on Joy fm Newsfile what has been in the public domain for a very long time, Dr. Appiah added.
“I am sure Mr Kpebu did what he did because of what happened to Ahmed Swale, a journalist whose killers have still not been found”, noted DPM Chairman.
He further pointed out that Martin Amidu in his final letter as the Special Prosecutor (SP), described President Akufo-Addo as the Mother Serpent of Corruption. Because it was election year, Nana Addo aka Mampam pretended like he didn’t hear. Adding that, “I am sure it was one of the reasons Mrs Jean Mensah had to steal the 2020 elections for the NPP with the help of the Supreme Court”.
The CDD report out which came out few weeks ago said that the Presidency under Nana Akufo-Addo was the most corrupt after the Police Service.
Dr. Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, has held a press conference immediately to rubbish that report against the institution. He believes the Police Service today, is not corrupt as the report seems to suggest.
According to Dr. Lawrence Appiah, in Dr. Dampare’s mind, as the head of the police service has not been referred to as Mother Serpent of corruption; he has not been called a Sakawa boy and he has not been named as part of a criminal syndicate in the Police Service. He doesn’t understand why a sitting President who has been called all these names didn’t come on top of corruption in Ghana.
Chairman of DPM, USA posted that since Dr. Dampare has held a press conference to rubbish the report, when will Nana Akufo-Addo also hold a meet-the-press to rubbish that CDD report? “Until Nana Addo comes out and rubbish the CDD report, I will urge Ghanaians and my NDC Communicators to stay on the message of Corruption”, Dr. Appiah stated.
He also indicated that “the Mampam in Ghana doesn’t hear anything except to tell him in his face that he is part of the criminal syndicate at the Jubilee House or he is a Sakawa boy. In other words, stay on the message that Nana Akufo-Addo is very corrupt, clueless and incompetent”.
