The NDC’s Women’s Organiser in the Ayawaso North Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hajia Boya Iddrissu has empowered a number of unemployed youth in her constituency.
Boisterous Hajia Boya employed the services of experts in making different types of soaps and detergents and other things to their impact knowledge into the youth of the area.
Hajia indicated in an interview with Nationaltymes.com during the passing out ceremony of the trainees, that the skills training given the youth is expected to empower them to earn a living.
According to her, she has the youth at heart and it disturbs her a lot when she sees them doing nothing that could fetch them money to cater for themselves, especially the young ladies, in this hard times deliberately created by President Akufo-Addo and busily looting the little resources left for the state with the help of his families.
The Afable Hajia Boya, hinted that she is trying with her little resources to ensure these unemployed youth in her area get something that would help them to manage themselves with.
The hardworking Ayawaso North NDC Women’s Organiser, Hajia Boya, said making of these various soaps and detergents and designing of sleepers with beads and other materials would make the youth self-employed.
“This will reduce the burden on their parents, especially to rescue the young ones from engaging in any deviant behaviour”, Hajia Boya pointed out.
“…..am praying for Allah to keep strengthening me in my endeavour to do more than this for my people in the Constituency; I also thank and pray for my colleague executives who are very supportive to keep helping for me to carry out with my genuine intention for all others as well”, she laments.
Each of the trainees were given certificate of participation which qualifies them to work elsewhere in related areas of their training.
