MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso Central, Hon. Abdul-Rauf Tabazu, has provided cash support to 120 beneficiaries across the constituency to help them strengthen and expand their businesses.

The initiative, according to the MP, forms part of his commitment to supporting local businesses, creating opportunities and improving the livelihoods of people within the Ayawaso Central Constituency.

The beneficiaries, drawn from various communities in the constituency, are expected to use the support to expand their businesses, improve their operations and create sustainable sources of income for themselves and their families.

In addition to the business support, Hon. Tabazu has pledged to construct a 10-bed polyclinic facility at Aladjo to provide improved healthcare services to residents within the catchment area.

He said his Common Fund allocation for health would be channelled towards the construction of a fully-fledged and standard polyclinic to meet the healthcare needs of the growing population.

Hon. Tabazu further disclosed that the Assembly was already reconstructing the Mallam Atta Government Polyclinic, which currently has a capacity of less than 10 beds.

He said the projects were part of efforts to improve access to quality healthcare while supporting economic activities and improving the living conditions of residents in the constituency.

The MP’s interventions are expected to provide direct support to local entrepreneurs while strengthening social infrastructure in Ayawaso Central.
