THE NATIONAL Theatre in Accra on Tuesday hosted the official launch of Ghana’s revised Cultural Policy, a landmark initiative aimed at preserving, promoting and developing the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The event was attended by Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who graced the occasion as the special guest. Also present were the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie, and her Deputy, Hon. Yussif Jajah, who joined other dignitaries and stakeholders in the culture and creative arts sector.


The revised Cultural Policy is expected to provide a renewed framework for strengthening the creative arts industry, safeguarding Ghana’s cultural values and creating opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners across the country.
The launch brought together government officials, traditional leaders, cultural stakeholders and members of the creative arts community, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing Ghana’s cultural and creative development.
