THE Biakoye Constituency is located in the Oti Region and is known for its rich cultural heritage and natural resources.
However, like many other rural areas in the country, the lack of adequate educational resources has hindered the academic progress of students in the area.
In order to address this issue, Hon. Jean-Marie Formadi has taken a proactive approach by providing support to over 1200 fresh SHS students with learning materials.
This move has been praised by many as a step in the right direction towards improving the quality of education in the constituency.
The support provided by the MP includes essential items such as chop boxes, bags, exercise books and other materials to help the students prepare for their senior high school journey.
This gesture is not only a financial relief for parents who may struggle to provide these items for their children, but it also serves as a motivation for the students to take their education seriously.
In a statement, Hon. Jean-Marie Formadi emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of the youth and urged parents to take full responsibility for their children’s education.

The education representative for Biakoye, Mr. Dickson Adom, also added his voice in encouraging the beneficiaries to take their studies seriously and to make the most of the opportunity given to them.
He highlighted the fact that although many students may enter senior high school, the number of those who come out with good grades is limited.
He added that, with the support from the MP and the determination of the students, there is hope for a brighter future.
Mr. Dickson Adom stated, Biakoye Constituency has a lot of potential and the education of its youth is crucial in unlocking this potential.
He said, the support from the member of parliament is a clear indication of her commitment to the development of the area and the well-being of its people.
