THE ASSEMBLY Member for the Hlevi-Toklokpo Electoral Area, Francis Quashie Agbedeke, in collaboration with the Unit Committee, has donated 25 bags of cement to three churches to support their ongoing infrastructure projects.

The donation, made on December 7, benefited the Christ Evangelical Mission (CEM), the Methodist Church, and the Roman Catholic (RC) Church. Representatives of the Unit Committee presented the items on behalf of the Assembly Member.
According to the committee, the gesture was in response to formal appeals from the churches for support toward their construction and renovation works. They noted that the donation reflects the Assembly Member’s commitment to strengthening institutions that contribute significantly to community welfare.

During the presentation, committee members acknowledged the vital role churches play in local development—providing spiritual guidance, education, social support, and moral direction. They reaffirmed their readiness to continue assisting community-based initiatives, adding that future support could be expanded if the government’s promised allowances to assembly members and unit committees are fully released.

The initiative reinforces cooperation between local authorities and faith-based institutions and highlights a collective dedication to sustainable development in the Hlevi-Toklokpo Electoral Area.
