THE MEMBER of Parliament for Salaga South, Zuweira Mohammed Ibrahimah, has commissioned new school facilities in four communities, along with a CHPS compound at Kakoshie, to improve education and healthcare in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, she thanked Almighty Allah for making the projects possible. She also praised the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for his leadership and professionalism during the construction process.
One of the key highlights was the opening of a newly built classroom block. The facility is designed to give schoolchildren a better and more comfortable place to learn. Although the building was completed months ago, its official opening was delayed to ensure that furniture was provided before students moved in.
A representative explained that the delay was necessary. “We could not open the school without desks and chairs for the students,” the spokesperson said. “Now that the Municipal Assembly has supplied the furniture, students can start learning right away in a proper environment.”

The event brought together community leaders, residents, and education stakeholders, who all expressed their appreciation for the new developments. The improved classrooms are expected to make teaching and learning easier and more effective.
The addition of both the school facilities and the CHPS compound shows a strong commitment to improving access to quality education and healthcare for people in the Salaga South constituency.
