IN A clear demonstration of his commitment to accelerated development in the Ayawaso North Constituency, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Yussif Jajah, has embarked on a comprehensive inspection tour of ongoing infrastructure projects and proposed development sites across the area.
The MP today inspected the construction of drainage systems currently underway across the constituency, a critical intervention aimed at improving sanitation and addressing perennial flooding challenges.

He also visited sites earmarked for key social infrastructure projects scheduled to commence soon. These include a modern community centre to be constructed at Kawokudi, ambulance and fire service stations around Chalelon Park, and two CHPS compound clinics to be built in the Kawokudi and Sweet Apple communities to enhance access to healthcare.
The inspection follows the sod-cutting ceremony held about two months ago, where Hon. Jajah, together with the Deputy Minister for Roads andHighway, Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini, officially launched the drainage project.

The latest visit was to assess progress and ensure quality and timely execution. Hon. Jajah was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Mohammed Awal, Assembly Members, municipal engineers, and the Presiding Member, Hon. Benjamin Anabila.
Also present were the Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Manaf Walker, his executives, ward coordinators all of the ruling NDC, and community stakeholders, underscoring the broad support for the development agenda.

The contractor, Dan’s Rock Co. Ltd, led by its Managing Director, Mr. Aziz, was on site with his workforce. He expressed confidence in completing the drainage works within six to eight months, subject to favourable conditions.
Residents who waved at the MP expressed appreciation for his hands-on leadership style and renewed focus on delivering tangible development projects that will significantly improve living conditions in the constituency.
