PRESIDENTIAL hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has boldly stated that he should not be blamed for the economic and political challenges facing Ghana under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Speaking on his bid to lead the NPP into the next election, Mr. Agyepong clarified that he was not part of the government that “caused the mess,” and therefore must be judged separately.
According to him, his name should not be associated with the decisions and policies that have led to hardship, frustration, and growing public dissatisfaction at the time.

The former NPP General Secretary believes his clean record, integrity, and long-standing commitment to the party and nation make him the right person to restore public trust.
He is urging delegates and Ghanaians to give him a chance to bring a fresh start and real accountability to the party’s leadership and governance.
