CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE ZANGO CAUCUS USA TO H.E. JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA, BEREAVED FAMILIES, AND THE NATION

WE ARE deeply saddened by the tragic loss of some of Ghana’s most distinguished sons; true patriots who served our nation with honor, humility, and dedication.

On behalf of the Zango Caucus-USA, I, the Coordinator, Abdul-Salaam Zeebah extend our heartfelt condolences to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the bereaved families, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the entire nation on the passing of:

1. Dr. Edward Omane Boamah
2. Hon. Murtala Mohammed
3. Alhaji Limuna Muniru
4. Dr. Samuel Sarpong
5. Mr. Samuel Aboagye and three others

This painful tragedy is not only a blow to the NDC fraternity but a national heartbreak for all Ghanaians who value service, selflessness, and sacrifice.

We are especially shaken by the passing of Hon. Murtala Mohammed, who prayed Jumah with us at the Yankasa Mosque in New York just two weeks ago. His humility, presence, and connection with the Ghanaian Zongo diaspora remain deeply etched in our hearts.
