THE PRESIDENCY Communications Office is shaking things up with a bold new initiative, The Government Accountability Series; set to launch today, Monday, July 14, 2025.
The move is aimed at pulling back the curtain on government activities and putting real facts in front of Ghanaians.
This series will give citizens the chance to hear directly from ministers about what has been done, what’s still pending, and what lies ahead. It promises raw updates on achievements, challenges, and honest conversations about Ghana’s direction.
Starting with the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, the sessions will take place three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—at 11 a.m.
The goal? Transparency, accountability, and truth. No spin, just facts.

Government officials will be expected to explain how their sectors have performed over the past six months, giving citizens the power to assess their efforts and demand better when needed.
This marks a major step toward restoring trust in governance and shows the Mahama administration’s readiness to be held accountable by the people.
