FUMING over what they described as broken promises, some Constituency Organisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region lamented that they have been betrayed after helping the party to secure victory in elections 2024.
At fiery press conference in Accra, leader of the NDC Organizers’ caucus, Gad Narteh Ackwerh on behalf of his colleagues voiced out a growing frustration in them following the ongoing appointments since the party assumed power.

Mr. Narteh Ackwerh, the spokesperson and leader of the caucus, didn’t mince words. “We did the groundwork. We entered the ghettos, knocked on doors, turned 20 seats into 31—and now, when it’s time for appointments, we’re being pushed aside,” he fumed.
According to Akwerh and his colleagues, the organizers were promised appointment at the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) once power had been secured.

Yet, they now allege that those posts have gone to others, leaving them empty-handed. The most painful part, they said, is that qualifications like degrees are now being used to disqualify them— something they never mentioned to them during the grueling campaign trail.
