IN A groundbreaking move to uplift the economic well-being of delegates in Ayawaso East Constituency, the Mahama Center has announced the launch of an interest-free loan and project financing scheme set to begin on March 1, 2025.
The initiative, backed by a GH₵1 million seed capital, aims to support both women and men delegates by providing financial assistance without interest, collateral or upfront deposits.
Two-Phase Financial Support
The scheme will be rolled out in two distinct phases:
1. Phase 1 – Women Delegates Loan Scheme:
Interest-free loans ranging from GH₵500 to GH₵5,000
Weekly installment repayment over a one-year period
Opportunity for higher loan amounts upon successful repayment
2. Phase 2 – Project Financing for Men Delegates:
Interest-free financing to support business ventures
One-year repayment plan
Why This Matters:
This initiative is designed to enhance the financial stability of delegates, encourage entrepreneurship and improve livelihoods within the constituency.
The absence of interest rates and collateral requirements makes it an accessible and attractive opportunity for all eligible delegates.
Delegates interested in benefiting from the programme are encouraged to visit the Mahama Center for more details.
This initiative reaffirms the Mahama Center’s commitment to economic empowerment and grassroots development in Ayawaso East.
