THE BRANCH of National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso East Constituency of the Greater Accra Region chaired by Mohammed Ramne Alabi has organised a health screening for the people.

The medical team screened almost all ailments, these include breast concern, Tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS, malaria and many other diseases. According to Dr Mahama, the AIDS Commission of Ghana reported that the sickness which was reducing gradually has now shot up drastically and this was due to the COVID-19 which took all attention and the fight against HIV and AIDS.
He took advantage of event to encourage Ghanaians to know their HIV status to help reduce menace. He added that HIV education will continue unabated to curb the spread immediately.
The Hon. Member of Parliament for the area, Mc Nasser Mahama Toure has joined screening by contracting the service of NHIA to provide NHIS Cards to those who do not have and renew the cards that are expired to enable them access healthcare.
The Greater Accra Regional NDC Treasurer and a member of Health Screening Cordinating Team, Mohammed Norga alias M Friend also iterated in an interview with this portal that the exercise is a project that would cover all the 34 Constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
To this effect, he called on everybody to take advantage of the exercise to check their health status; especially now that the oldman President Akufo-Addo has introduced a “ceasing people’s bond policy or taken poor Ghanaian pensioner’s money by force”, and this policy is another sickness that has the tendency kill at any given time.
