Madam Jessica Braimah, the Greater Accra Regional Deputy Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has wished all the aspirants in the party’s upcoming elections conference.
The upcoming NDC national delegates’ conference slated for Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 17, 2022 is expected to elect various positions officers who will be running the party for the next four year term.
The keenly contested position that is trending across the country is the National Chairmanship position, with Johnson Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito, chief scribe of the party contesting the incumbent Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo as main contenders and Nii Armah Ashitey, former MP, Klottey Korle, Accra who also striving to lead the party.
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Director of Elections; Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, current Deputy National General Secetary; and Fifi Fiavi Kwettey, former MP laced their boots to lock-horn over the vacant secretay position at the delegates’ election conference.
Madam Braimah further wished all others who are also contesting other positions such as National Executive Committee Membe and Vice-Chairmen/Chairwomen hopefuls amongst others.
She saluted the organising committee for warning all NDC members trooping to Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow not to be in any attire carrying pictures of an aspirant. Madam Jessica Braimah said the caution was as a result of preventing any cracks in the party after the conference and to strengthen the existing peace thereafter.
Although she was optimistic the event will be peaceful, however Madam Braimah prayed against any evil wishes from detractors of the NDC.
She indicated that the NDC is bigger than any individual and they are prepared to work with whoever the delegates will elect to lead the party prior to the presidential primaries going into general elections in 2024.
Madam Jessica Braimah is highly confident that the National Democratic Congress, NDC will surely snatch power come 2024 at all cost.
All the individual aspirants have their Billboards and banners eracted across the Accra Sports Stadium for all to see.
