Nii AYITEY Anumle Oyanka I, Chief of Obliman, a suburb of Ga West Municipal Assembly, has organized the maiden edition of an annual inter school quiz festival.
The quiz took place on December 12, 2022 on the compound of King Oyanka’s Palace at Obliman in the Greater Accra Region.
The maiden quiz forms part of the activities lined up for the King’s historical book launch and has promised that the quiz would an annual festival to support the brilliant students within his catchment area.
At the end of the quiz, five schools out of ten progressed to the final stages which will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
These qualified schools were NAVS Kids School, Michael Morninger Presbyterian School, Visilica International school, Manhean M/A Basic School, all in the Ga West Municipality in Accra and Anamase M/A School in the Akyem Bosome Traditional Area, Eastern Region.
Addressing to the media, Nii Oyanka I, who doubles as the Chairman of Anamase Royal Alliance Council and Founder, Council of International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) for West Africa advised parents to invest in their wards to see their progress.
Nii asserted that children are an investment one needs to pay serious attention on. He also expressed gratitude to patrons and schools that partook in the maiden quiz festival and reiterating to make it an annual event.
