The Greater Accra Regional Conference will begin with the Youth and Women on this Friday 11th November 7.30am at the W.E.B Du Bois Memorial Centre, Cantonment in the La Dadekotopon Constituency.
The Conference will be climaxed at the TEMA SPORTS STADIUM in the Tema East Constituency on this Sunday 13th November at 7.30am.
All Delegates and Supporters should kindly take note of the following information;
- The Conference will be in two parts. Part 1 will entail a very brief ceremony from 7.30am – 9.45am
- At 10am sharp, the Election Committee will hand over to the EC for voting to begin.
- There will be 4 seating & voting arrangements with 4 corresponding polling stations. The Eastern, Central and Western corridors Constituencies constituting 9, 13 & 11 constituencies respectively. Amasaman
Constituency will be unable to vote due to an order of injunction.
The final Seating & voting arrangement will be for all former Government appointees, MPs, and Former MPs.
What this means is that each seating arrangement will have a polling station for voting purposes only.
Delegate names will only appear in their seating corridor to avoid multiple voting.
We expect voting to end by 3pm for counting to commence.
- There will be 8 types of tags: Delegates, Aspirants, Agents, Observers, Media, Security, Election Committee and VVIP Tags to be shared accordingly. You will be unable to enter the voting arena or periphery if you do not have the appropriate tag. Observer tags will qualify you to observe the elections in the permissible voting zone.
- You will be unable to cast your vote if your name does not find expression in the certified delegates lists. The delegates lists will be certified by the National Election Directorate under FEC.
- We will not countenance any diabolic and unauthorized videos and, pictures aimed at putting the party’s name into public ridicule from any members of the party.
- We expect all aspirants, observers and supporters to be disciplined and conform to all regulations.
- It is our expectation that by 6pm all election results will be declared.
