The People of Krachi-Nchumuru in the Oti Region of Ghana were grateful to the Hon Member of Parliament, MP for the area, Mr. Solomon Kuyon for helping them to also celebrate the Christmas.
The Hon. MP for Nchumuru in the Chinderi District, Mr. Kuyon has donated assorted food items to the people.
Following the hardship situation currently in the country under the auspices of President Akufo-Addo, Hon Kuyon deemed it necessary to donate these huge food items to mitigate the situation of his people.
The food items worth Ghc50,000 (equivalent to 500 million old cedis) was distributed on 24th December 2021 to support his struggling people, especially the downtrodden.
Mr. Kuyon who has his people at heart, directed that the beneficiaries of these food items should be the less privileged; Orphans; widows and the needy.
The distributed food items during the Christmas include; 120 bags of rice (25 kg); 20 bags of rice (50kg); Boxes of cooking oil and Cartons of markerel fish.
Some of these beneficiaries who spoke with Nationaltymes.com, were so grateful to the Members of Parliament, Hon. Solomon Kuyon for his gesture.
“I least expected this; we thank Hon Kuyon for his help to enable us to join others to also celebrate this year’s Christmas”. “…..the hardship is unbearable and we’re very grateful the MP has come to help rescue the situation”, some of the beneficiaries reckoned.
