Zanetor Rawlings, the first daughter of Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings and Member of Parliament, MP for the people of Klotey Korle (Osu) has taken swipe at President Akufo-Addo and charged him to be mindful of the way he is using democracy to suppress people.

She made this statement last friday, October 12, 2021 when the NDC was marking the commemorative day of her father, Jerry Rawlings at the Headquarters in Accra.

Hon. Zanetor  pointed out to President Akufo-Addo saying, “If today people have democracy and are using it to suppress people they should thank somebody; they should thank Jerry Rawlings”.

She eulogized her father saying he is the founder of the 4th Republic of Ghana and that the democracy Ghana is enjoying today  is as a result of former President Rawlings.

The Late Jerry John Rawlings.

President Akufo-Addo was noted to had hatred for late former President J. J. Rawlings for years until unfortunately, he is enjoying the his (J. J.) democracy as President which he is comfortable using it to witch-hunt the opposition members of the NDC.
