Hon. Members of Parliament, MP for Klottey Korley, Zanetor Rawlings has appealed to the NDC hierarchy to convince and bring back her mother, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings to rejoin the NDC.

During her commemorative speech at the NDC’s Headquarters in Accra, Ms. Zenator Agyemang Rawlings appealed to the rank and file of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ensure her mother, former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings rejoined the party.
Her appeal came on the back of unity and progress of the party’s forward match to victory 2024. She stated her mother was the integral part of the formation of the NDC.

“Let me say what people do not want to say. Nana konadu was an integral part of the party let us do well to bring her back”- Hon. Zanetor posited the Party Hierarchy.
She added that “in every family there are conflicts but we have elders to resolve it”, she noted.

Acvording to her, forgiveness and unity is very important in the victory of a political party like the NDC, hence the need to bring back her mother, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings ahead of 2024 elections.
The lawmaker also appealed to the party to also bring all members of cadre in the mainstream intra party politics of the NDC.
For her, sidelining some group of party people in the forward match for victory could not be achieved without unity among all members.

On his part, the national chairman of the party, Hon. Ofosu Ampofu has assured the daughter of and MP for Korley Klottey of his readiness to begin the unity process with the former First Lady.
He expressed joy about the appeal made by the first daughter of the NDC founder and promised to execute the mission of peace, progress and unity of the party in due course.
