The Legislator for Ayawaso East Constituency, Mac Nasser Mahama Toure has donated a number of sewing machines to some youth who are going through apprenticeship training in sewing in the area.
According to the Member of Parliament, MP for the area in an interview with National Tymes, during his house to house campaign prior to the just ended elections the beneficiaries requested of him sewing machines.
He disclosed that the beneficiaries are learning sewing without the machines to enable them learn the work better. Mac Nasser also added that there are other who want to go into sewing and need support.
The donation which forms part of the MP’s promise to ensure John Mahama’s apprenticeship programme enshrined in the NDC’s People’s Manifesto is sustained to benefit the young people in the area who want a skilled training in one profession or the other.
National Tymes gathered that the donation are in budges and soon others will surely receive theirs to enable them to also go through their apprenticeship training successfully.
The Ayawaso East Constituency Organizer, Yussif Kamal-Deen who coordinated the donation hinted National Tymes that the MP, Mac Nasser has lots of positive plans for the constituent, especially the youth.
