THE National Deputy Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Dzifa Tegah, has declared her intention to contest for the position of Deputy National General Secretary, saying her decision is driven by the party’s grassroots and her desire to strengthen its internal structures.

Speaking at a press conference at the party headquarters, Madam Tegah described the grassroots as the foundation and lifeblood of the NDC, noting that their commitment and sacrifices had sustained the party through both challenging and successful times.
“The grassroots have held this party together through good and difficult times. I am contesting because of them and for the future of our great party,” she said.
She explained that the position of Deputy National General Secretary plays a crucial role in the day-to-day administration and coordination of the party, making it important to have a person committed to strengthening its structures and improving its operations.
Dzifa Tegah pledged to work towards building a more efficient, inclusive and accessible party administration that responds to the concerns of members and gives the grassroots a stronger voice in decision-making.

Her decision to contest adds to the competition for key positions as the NDC prepares to elect its next batch of national executives.
