The Governor of Faidha Ghana, Alhaji Abdul Kadir Tanko, has donated food items to widows and orphans in Nkwanta South following the recent conflict in the area.

The conflict has left many families without breadwinners, forcing some women into widowhood and leaving many children without parents. Moved by their situation, Alhaji Abdul Kadir Tanko stepped in to offer support, especially in this great month of Ramadan Kareem.

Alhaji Tanko, who is also the Nkosouhene of the Buem Traditional Area in Jasikan, is known for his commitment to helping vulnerable people in his community. His latest donation is part of his continued efforts to bring relief and hope to those in need.

The food items were distributed on his behalf by Mallam Adam Boadi Nyamah, who praised the governor for his kindness. He noted that the donation would not only provide food for affected families but also remind them that they are not alone during this difficult time.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the support. They described the gesture as a sign of unity and compassion, saying it has given them hope despite their painful losses. According to them, the governor’s action shows that the community must stand together, especially in times of hardship.

Mallam Adam Boadi Nyamah also highlighted Alhaji Tanko’s wider contributions to social, cultural, and development activities across Ghana. He said the governor remains dedicated to improving the lives of people around him.

The governor’s efforts have earned appreciation within Nkwanta and beyond. His support for widows and orphans once again shows his commitment to serving the vulnerable and strengthening community bonds.
His action stands as a simple but powerful reminder that one person’s kindness can make a real difference.
