THE MEMBER of Parliament for Salaga-South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has provided 500 streetlights to be installed across the constituency to improve security and safety in local communities.
The project is part of her efforts to improve infrastructure and support the wellbeing of her people. Earlier, she also donated 650 bags of sugar to support residents during Ramadan. The items were distributed to party branches, youth and women’s groups, the less privileged, chiefs, opinion leaders, and religious leaders in the constituency.
At the presentation ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive, Kassim Yazid Rabiu, and the Constituency Chairman, Haruna Abdul Aziz, thanked the MP for her continued support and dedication to the development of Salaga-South.

In her remarks, Hajia Ibrahimah said Ramadan teaches sacrifice, unity, and compassion. She prayed that Allah accepts the fasting of the faithful, brings peace to homes, and strengthens unity in the constituency. She added that serving the people of Salaga-South is her greatest honour.
