EXECUTIVES of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayawaso North Constituency on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Yussif Jajah, who is also the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.

The visit which took place at the Ministry in Accra, formed part of efforts by the constituency executives to officially congratulate the MP on his recent appointment as Deputy Minister.
They also commended him for being selected as a member of the Ministerial Technical Committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, describing the appointment as a major achievement for both the constituency and the nation.
Speaking on behalf of the executives, the NPP Constituency Chairman, Mr. Kelly, expressed his appreciation to Hon. Jajah for his continuous commitment to the development of Ayawaso North, despite political differences.

He noted that the executives were proud of the MP’s growing national responsibilities and encouraged him to continue working hard to bring development to the constituency.
Mr. Kelly further called for stronger collaboration between the NPP constituency executives and the MP to help advance developmental projects and government programmes in the area. According to him, unity across party lines would help improve the living conditions of residents and promote peace and progress in the constituency.
In his response, Hon. Yussif Jajah thanked the executives for the visit and the show of goodwill. He described the gesture as a strong sign of maturity in local politics and reaffirmed his commitment to serving all residents of Ayawaso North, regardless of their political affiliation.

The Deputy Minister assured the executives that he would continue to work closely with all stakeholders to promote development, create opportunities for the youth, and ensure that the constituency benefits from national initiatives in tourism, culture, and creative arts.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both sides pledging to work together in unity for the progress of the constituency and the overall development of Ayawaso North.
