IN A MAJOR push to strengthen digital learning in Salaga-South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah has received 52 computers from the National Investment Bank (NIB) for distribution to two senior high schools.
The support follows a formal request submitted by the MP to NIB to equip Salaga Senior High School (SASS) and T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School (T.I. Amass) with modern ICT tools.
Receiving the items on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, Hon. Hajia Zuwera expressed deep appreciation to the Managing Director of NIB, Chief Dr. Doli-Wura Zakaria, and his team for approving her request.
She described the gesture as a significant investment in ICT development and a testament to the bank’s commitment to youth empowerment, education, and community development under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
The two schools have long struggled with inadequate ICT resources, making the donation a timely intervention. The MP assured NIB that the computers will be deployed immediately to enhance teaching and learning, improve digital literacy, and strengthen both student and teacher capacity in ICT.
Hon. Hajia Zuwera further revealed plans to adopt and modernize the ICT laboratories at SASS and T.I. Amass as part of her broader agenda to improve educational infrastructure in the constituency.

She noted ongoing collaborations with the Ministry of Education, relevant state agencies, and international partners to advance this initiative and support education more broadly.
She was accompanied during the presentation by her brother and constituent, Mr. Salifu Hamid-Kanyiti, who also serves as Personal Assistant to the Minister of Education.
