
MINISTER for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, led a team to monitor the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) at the Gbawe Cluster of Schools in the Weija Gbawe Municipality.
She was joined by Hajia Fati Forgor, National Coordinator of GSFP, Madam Jessica Braimah, Greater Accra Regional Coordinator, and the Municipal Chief Executive of Weija Gbawe, Hon. Felix Odartey Lamptey.


The visit was part of the Ministry’s regular monitoring to ensure quality food delivery, accountability, and better results under the School Feeding Programme.
The team interacted with caterers and headteachers, stressing the need for high standards in cooking and serving meals to school-children. They also addressed challenges and assured stakeholders of the Ministry’s commitment to improve supervision and solve operational issues.


The Minister and her team were impressed with the dedication shown so far and encouraged continued collaboration to meet the key goals of the programme, improving child nutrition, increasing school attendance, and supporting local farmers.
