THE GHANA Free Zones Authority (GFZA) has honoured AMP Logistics Ltd. for its remarkable 10-year journey under the Free Zones Programme, recognizing the company’s significant contributions to Ghana’s logistics sector.
A delegation led by GFZA’s Deputy CEO for Finance & Administration, Mrs. Kate Abbeo, visited AMP Logistics’ facility in the Tema Free Zones Enclave to commemorate the milestone. The team lauded AMP Logistics for its impressive growth, commitment to local employment, and ongoing contributions to Ghana’s logistics sector.

AMP Logistics, incorporated in January 2015, specializes in integrated supply chain solutions for cocoa processing companies, offering services such as storage, handling, fumigation, weighing, haulage, freight forwarding, and cargo clearing.
The company operates a warehouse with a capacity of 65,000 metric tonnes and a fleet of about 100 trucks, supported by an in-house mechanical team and fuel station.

During the visit, AMP Logistics expressed appreciation for GFZA’s continued support and shared plans to expand operations by acquiring more trucks, despite rising operational costs. A commemorative plaque was presented in honour of the milestone, and the visit concluded with a tour of the company’s facility.
The GFZA delegation included Mrs. Patience Agbleze Acorlor, Director of Corporate Affairs & PR; Mr. Lawrence Osei-Boateng, Director of the Tema Office; and other officials.

This celebration underscores the importance of partnerships between regulatory bodies and private enterprises in driving economic growth and development in Ghana.
