
THE NATIONAL Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah, is leading a high-level party delegation to the People’s Republic of China for a strategic engagement with the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and foster collaboration in key areas, including the consolidation of local government structures in Ghana, enhancement of party-to-party relations, initiation of political exchange programs between the youth wings of both parties, and exploration of economic and investment opportunities.

The NDC delegation comprises:
- Comrade Vincent Kuagbenu, Director for Special Duties
- Dr. Karl Mark Arhin, Deputy Director of International Relations
- Dr. Hanna Louisa Bisiw, National Women’s Organizer
- Kwaku Asiedu-Nketiah, Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee
The delegation is scheduled to return to Ghana on May 17, 2025.
In the absence of Chairman Asiedu-Nketiah, Comrade Awudu Sofo Azorka, the National Vice Chairman, will serve as the acting National Chairman.
