THE NATIONAL Intelligence Bureau (NIB) has summoned Kwame Baffoe, commonly known as Abronye DC, for questioning regarding allegations he made against President John Dramani Mahama.
In a letter dated February 21, 2025, and signed by the Bono Regional Commander, Mr. Kwaku Afari, the NIB requested that Abronye DC appear before its Director of Investigations on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Accra.
This summons comes in response to comments made by Abronye DC during an interview on Movement in the Morning, a breakfast show on Movement TV hosted by Kwaku Dawuro.

During the interview, Abronye DC accused President Mahama of hoarding GH¢550 million, which he claimed was intended for dismissed appointees at the Jubilee House. He also alleged that there was corruption in the recruitment and revocation processes during Mahama’s time in office.

The NIB’s invitation indicates the agency’s intent to investigate these serious allegations. It remains to be seen if Abronye DC will present evidence to back up his claims or if he will face potential legal repercussions.
