
THE MANKRADO of Awutu Topease in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, Nana Kofi Bosompem, has called on President-Elect John Dramani Mahama to take decisive action against corruption within the outgoing Akufo-Addo administration.
Nana Bosompem specifically urged Mahama to arrest and prosecute government officials from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) accused of corruption, stressing that such actions would serve as a powerful deterrent to others. According to the traditional ruler, Ghanaians would be pleased to see accountability upheld under the new administration.
In his statement, Nana Bosompem also congratulated Mahama and all newly elected Members of Parliament, wishing them success in their upcoming endeavors.

Meanwhile, Nana Yaw Kudu Manu, the Mankrado of Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba, has spoken out against reports of violent attacks by some National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters. He condemned the incidents, urging party faithful to maintain calm and avoid causing damage to state properties.
