ONE OF THE LEADING members of the NDC and 2020 Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the Oforikrim Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Henry OSei Akoto has warned that it would be very dangerous for Ghanaians to handover their destiny into the wobbling hands of Dr. “Mate” Mahamoudu Bawumia.

According to him, “we can’t give Bawumia the mandate to rule Ghana again”, during one of the political discussions where he was a co-pannelists on one of the national television stations, CTV in Accra.
Mr. Osei Akoto, former National Organiser aspirant cited a number of reasons Bawumia should not be voted for in the upcoming 2024 general elections; this include the fact that Dr. Bawumia failed as Vice-President in charge of Ghana’s Economic Management Team (EMT); where he has messed up all the economic indicators, Mr. Akoto said.

He pointed out that under Vice-President Dr. Bawumia Ghana is facing serious economic crisis affecting utility tariffs, where increments are made every three months, with VAT on electricity tariff, and transportation and fuel prices skyrocketing.

Mr. Osei Akoto further indicated that Vice-President Bawumia, Head of EMT, the planting for food and jobs policy has collapsed and today Ghana is importing tomatoes and onion from neighbouring countries like Burkina Faso, Niger amongst others.
One (1) dollar is now close to seventeen (17) Ghana cedis, Mr. Osei Akoto Henry hinted.
After he failed as Economic Wizkid, Vice-President Dr. Alhaji Mahamoudu Bawumia, now touts himself as the digitalization man.

Mr. Osei Akoto was quick to explain that digitalization was a facility established by former President John Dramani Mahama to facilitate and improve digital space in the country from Accra through to Bawko in the Upper East Region.
