PASTOR Grace Ofure Ibhakormu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lifecard Investment Company, Nigeria and Lifecard Dubai, has charged African entrepreneurs, especially the youth, to move beyond consumption and build courage to produce for Africa and the world.

“We consume what somebody has produced. Have the courage to produce. Africa must produce what it consumes,” she declared.
Pastor Ibhakormu made the call at the two-day Loveworld Trade and Investment Forum (LTIF), Accra Edition, held at the Ohene Konadu Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), which attracted over 2,000 young people, entrepreneurs and business owners.

The forum, convened by Loveworld Commerce Minister Madam Stephanie Oforka on the theme “Build The Future Through Production, Trade, Trust and Innovation”, is equipping participants with practical insights on production, trade and investment.

She said Africa’s economic transformation depends on producing what it consumes rather than relying on imports, and that such a shift would create jobs, reduce import dependence and drive self-reliance.

She challenged participants to develop innovative ideas, invest in production and take advantage of opportunities within the African market.
