THE LEADERSHIP of The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has directed its members to
continue with the ‘stay-at-home’ strike until the government listens to them.
The strike which started last week, July 3, 2024, is expected to continue until the leadership gives official communication to do otherwise.
The workers are asked to stay home because despite all efforts to resolve the outstanding issues with the Government of Ghana on their demands have not been met; and they have no option but to continue the strike.

NOTICE OF CONTINUATION OF CLOGSAG STRIKE ACTION
To all members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG).

TAKE NOTICE that the strike action commenced on July 3, 2024, is still ongoing and has not been suspended or called off. Despite efforts to resolve the outstanding issues with the Government of Ghana, our demands have not been met, and we have no option but to continue the strike.
IN PURSUANCE OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO WITHHOLD OUR LABOUR, we hereby notify all members to continue the strike action until further notice. All members are hereby directed not to report to work on Monday, July 8, 2024, and subsequent days until our leadership gives official communication otherwise.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that participation in the strike action is lawful and protected under the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651). Any attempt to intimidate, harass, or victimize members for participating in the strike shall be met with appropriate legal action.
