THE BRANCH of the opposition NDC at the Ayawaso Central in the Greater Accra Region has ignited the love the electorates have for the party during a health walk dubbed “24hr Walk”.
The walk also reflesh the existing sympathy the people of Ayawaso Central have for the NDC. It was interesting to see people coming out of their homes with party panaphinalias to join the walk, whilst others came out of their church auditoriums to cheer up the participants.
This was to register their protest against the deceit and unbearable hardship the Nana Akufo-Addo/Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumiah led NPP administration created for Ghanaians.
In an interview with Nationaltymes.com, Harry Otu Hesse, the hard working Ayawaso Central Constituency Chairman stressed that elections are won at the polling stations.
To this, he charged the branches to be holding meetings frequently to be strong the more in order to snatch the parliamentary seat from the NPP and maximize votes of the NDC to catapult John Dramani Mahama to the Flag Staff (Jubilee) House in 2025.
Mr. Otu Hesse indicated that with the continuous branch meetings, those who would be put in charge of prompting could be identified. He added that it requires hardworking to harness the parliamentary seat and to increase votes for the NDC.
Chairman Otu Hesse explained that the NDC in Ayawaso Central is poised to snatching the parliamentary seat this time around, under his leadership; and to increase the vote patterns.
The 24hr Walk which was organised by the youth wing of the Constituency brought some national and regional executives who took part; Chief Sofo Azoka, National Vice-Chairman and Deputy National Organiser Incharge of Operation, Elikem Kotoko.
The Greater Accra Regional Executives were Deputy Organiser, Gambo, Amos Blessing Amose, Regional Youth Organiser and Alhaji Norga, Treasurer.
They all took their turns to address the teeming youth who turned out in their numbers in the 24hr Walk.
