A Group of Men and Women in the Diaspora called ZEALOTS International, Ghana Chapter has donated various items and cash to the Greater Accra Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The items are worth over fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (50,000). The donation made on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 was meant to help the NDC in the region to be effective in their preparasation towards 2024 general elections.
The items include stationaries, about hundred packs of ‘X’ natural mineral water, 4 gallons of detergent, some which are powdered, and Hisense refrigerator amongst other items.
ZEALOTS International, Ghana chapter also donated undisclosed amount of money to enable the Greater Accra Regional NDC pay for its utility bills and other needs.
According to Bismark Davis, Convenor of the Think Tank, Ghana Chapter, the donation was their contribution to support the regional executives to work with peace of mind as they are preparing towards the crutial elections 2024.
He hinted that Zealots would extend donation of similar items to about 14 NDC orphan constituencies in the Greater Accra Region and some selected constituencies who needed some support in their endeavours.
This support is to help strengthen these beneficiary constituencies to also prepare to snatching the seats in their respective areas, and others to retain their seats; while the NDC and John Dramani Mahama focus in the quest to rescuing Ghana from the ruling scavengers – NPP led by Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumia.
The Greater Accra Regional NDC Vice-Chairman, Comrade William Vinyo with the support his colleague executives were very grateful to Zealots Ghana Chapter for the items.
The Region humbly requested of other groups and NDC sympathisers to come their aid with photocopiers. This is to help them produce more copies of documents internally for training purposes across the region.
Comrade Tetteh Chai, Greater Accra Regional NDC Secretary promised to furnish Ghana Chapter of Zealots International, with a list of the few constituencies as well as the orphan ones to facilitate their movements and donations.
