THE COMMUNICATIONS outfit of the Volta Regional NDC in collaboration with the South Tongu Communications Officer, Nicholas Aklorbortu have organised an orientation for the South Tongu team members.
As the party prepares for the 2024 general elections, the South Tongu Constituency NDC Communications team were taken through lots of communication strategies that would help them to increase votes for the NDC and the PC in the area.
South Tongu Constituency NDC Communications bureau led by Aklorbortu and his deputy, indicated in their opening remarks that the orientation exercise was very important following the aggressiveness of the NPP to break the 8.
The Bureau further posited that the NPP in South Tongu is so desperate that they would like to do anything including deceit and sharing of money to buy votes in the area to snatch the seat. Hence the need for this programme to ensure the communications team in the area is strengthened so that they are not taken by surprise by the NPP going into 2024 elections.
The Regional Communications team led by Mr. Kafui Agbleze with the support of his Deputy, Mr. Del Bright Kugbeadzor took their colleagues in South Tongu through smart ways of defending NDC records properly for the electorates to better follow.
South Tongu NDC Communications team were imbibed with more Communication skills to strengthen them to increase votes in the area to catapult the party into power by 2025.
Mr. Agbleze informed them amongst other things to use fact and figures in their presentations. The NDC has lots of good records that the ruling NPP are struggling to catch up with; and those records, he entreated his colleagues to have them at their fingertips.
The workshop took the communicators in through some other strategies on agenda setting in order not to allow the failed NPP to outwit them with theirs in order to get away with their usual mouth-watering tactics.
Other experience members took their turns at the event to explain to the South Tongu NDC Communications team how to thwart the macavilian strategies of the NPP so they would not deceive the electorates of the area again.
The Volta Regional NDC Secretary, James Gunu, Regional Organizer, Ben Siki Abibu, Regional Vice Chairman, Egypt Kudoto, Hon. MP for South Tongu, Mr. Kobla Woyome, and Mr. Yao Amekor also took their turns to address the South Tongu Communications team.
They encouraged them to take the programme seriously since the highly incompetent governing NPP led by Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice-President Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumia have lots of deceitful strategies to outwit voters.
