A POLITICAL Youth Activist based in the Lower Manya Krobo of the Eastern Region of Ghana, Moses Tettey Dometey has taken swipe at the Managing Editor of Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Ben Ephson and said he lacks credibility.
According to Mr. Tettey Dometey, who doubles as the President of a group called “Bring Mahama Back (BMB)”, he was saddened to hear Mr. Ephson said the changes the NDC made in the leadership of the Minority in Ghana’s Parliament was masterminded by Former President John Dramani Mahama (JDM/JM) and the National Chairman of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
In a statement, Mr. Tettey Dometey aka Bola Ray Jnr. warned Mr. Ephson saying “stop the wrong accusations because I have observed over time your ill public utterances directed to dent the reputation of the former President JDM/JM, and president in waiting come 2025.
“……I expect Ben Ephson to know better since his work has to do with gathering of valid and accurate information before making any public pronouncement, but due to the hatred he has for former President JM, he drops anything negative that comes up in his head against Ghana’s only political and developmental gem, Mr. Mahama”, Bola Ray Jnr lamented.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by the National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia replaced Hon. Haruna Iddrissu; Hon. James Clutse Avedzi and Hon. Muntaka Mubarak as Minority and deputy Minority leaders and Minority Chief Whip with Dr. Casel Ato Forson; Armah Kofi Buah and Kwame Governors Agbodza respectively.
Bola Ray quizzed that “what power does His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has to orchestrate such reshuffle when the party has a leader? JM is not yet the Flag-bearer neither was he part of the National Executives, so, on what basis have you (Ephson) made your claim? He quizzed.
He opined that, the party has a structure, and Mr. Dramani Mahama is not part of the leadership until he becomes the Flag-bearer of the party; so how could he initiated that reshuffle according to your (Ephson) post published by Ghanaweb? He questioned Ephson’s.
To this effect, I want to urge Ben Ephson of Daily Dispatch to desist from character assassination and blue Journalism and using g of his position to be causing fear and panic to the general public, Moses Tettey Dometey posited.
Our John Dramani Mahama is untouchable; It is high time for you, Ephson to know that who Jah Bless Know One cures,
