THE PARLIAMENTARY and Presidential primaries will be conducted simultaneously across the 275 Constituencies in the country.
The party also emphatically stated that SALL, that’s the Gwan Constituency in the Volta Region, is not excluded from the primaries making 276 constituencies in all across the country.
Ghana’s largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released elections timetable for its parliamentary and presidential primaries.
According to the General Secretary of the party, Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwettey the party decided holding a simultaneous presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to elect a flagbearer and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 general elections.
The timetable outlined by the party last Wednesday, January 18, interested individuals are expected to pick up nomination forms from the party’s website or its headquarters. And 3 days, February 22 to 24 is allowed for the picking of nominations forms.
General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey was quick to state that the female and persons with disabilities are allowed to pay 50% of their filing fees, be it presidential or parliamentary.
So far, the names of three personalities — former President John Dramani Mahama; a former Governor and Minister of Finance, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, and a former Metropolitan Chief Executive of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu, have expressed interest for the presidential primary contest.

ELECTIONS: 13TH MAY, 2023 ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
