The newly constituted Regional Executives Committee of the NDC today joined the Muslim community, as part of their thanksgiving program to observe the Friday Prayers.
Some of the Muslim Executives joined the congregation which was led by the National Chief Imam, after which a special prayer was said by the latter to bless the new Executives.
The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Nii Ashie Moore could not hide his joy when the National Chief Imam recognized their presence with some pleasantries after the solemn occasion of observing the Jummah Prayers. On behalf of the Executive Committee, the Chairman took turn to express his immense gratitude to the National Chief Imam for his role in keeping the peace of our dear nation, Ghana.
He exclusively appealed to the National Chief Imam to say a prayer for the NDC 2020 Flagbearer, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the NDC NDC 2020 Running Mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, the National Executives and the rank and file of the party.
The visit was one of the outlined programs the Regional Executives have earmarked to execute within the week as part of their “Thanksgiving Project” since they were sworn in a week ago. This is indeed a very laudable example, worthy of emulation by all facets of the party to ensure victory and maintain peace in our nation.
The NDC always remains grateful to the National Chief Imam, and the Muslim Community for the cooperation they have always enjoyed together as one people with a common destiny. Thank you
