There are very few education institutions in Ghana, able to produce students fit for the job markets.
One such institution is Alpha-Beta Education Centre, an enviable education institution, noted for preparing students with skills to meet emplyers’ demands.
These students have been through the old system of education, from form 1 to upper 6 (7years) were prepared such that they could fit the job markets since they were trained to meet the specifications of employers, and in addition, be self-employed.
According to the Principal of Alpha Beta (ALP) Education Centre, Dr. Naomi Adjepong, ALP trains students such that they decide to continue learning and to extend the boundaries of their knowledge so as to add value to whichever group or company/employment they find themselves in.
The centre chains out students qualify to sit for Cambridge or any international examination. “…..We are confident that inspite of the challenges of teaching and learning during the pandemic, our students will do well”, Dr. Adjepong stated.
The “CLASS of 2021” of the ALP received awards in additional leadership skills they have acquired. They were awarded in Entrepreneurial Leadership; Outstanding Sports Leadership; Service Leadership and Adinkrahene Awards.
Dr. Adjepong explained that during a kind of protests against unfair results which affected the predicted results of many UK studies in last year, students of Alpha Beta performed excellently, and when the international boards made adjustment after the chaotic protest, it again flavoured Alpha-Beta students more.
She added that, “we at Alpha Beta are confident that these young ABIANS will continue the journey started at Alpha Beta and will become the kind of employees that employers desire; the kind of employees that are proactive, confident and will use their initiative as problems-solvers”.
Dr. Naomi Adjepong further stated that the center trains students in various skills and leadership to enable them fit in any employable venture where their service would be needed.
All the students gain administration into various tertiary institutions both in Ghana and abroad to further their Education. Others decided to go into the job market.
The Principal explained that the “Class of 2021” were the first Sixth Form graduates of the ALP Education Centre who went through the seven year programme from year 1 to Upper Sixth.
ALP Centre equips students with the necessary skills that would make them become vibrant, confident young leaders now and in the future.
Dr. Naomi Adjepong acknowledged the staff of the Alpha Beta Education Centre for their continuous dedication even in this COVID-19 era.
She also saluted the parents the of students for their patience during outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.
